The ElFamilia went to Yellowstone Park yesterday. We saw a lot of wildlife, including a couple of newborn bison calves. One little calf was walking down the middle of the highway with its parents. We stopped to take a picture, but Daddy Buffalo got a little cranky. So we left in a hurry. We were sprayed by a geyser that was next to the trail. I don’t think it usually erupts as big as it did. Then, the geyser right behind the trail erupted and sprayed us too. The trip was awesome. We had a great time.

Cool! Great video. WHo did that? What program did you use? I would like to combine stills with video. That's awesome. We'll have to take our kids to Yellowstone this summer. I haven't been since I was at Ricks.
Nice job on the video! Looks like you guys had a great time.
The video editing was actualy realy easy. I do it on a free Microsoft prgram called Windows Video Maker. And yes, we really did have a great time. We saw tons of elk & buffalo. We saw 2 bald eagles. Several blue heron (2 of which took off and flew right over our heads in synch with each other.) When we got to Old Faithful, we were sitting there waiting for it, eating a picnic lunch. About 1 minute before eruption, ElBoyo says, "I gotta go potty. NOW!" I told him that if I take him potty he'll miss Old Faithful. "I don't care," he said, "I've seen it before." Well, of course, we missed it. He came out of the bathroom and said, "Ok, let's go see Old Faithful go off now." Of course I explained that its too late now. He was so disapointed! The poor little guy threw a tantrum (he'd played all day without a nap.) It was so sad. But I was firm with him and said if he continued to throw a fit, I'd take him home. He sobered up and promised me that he would be good the rest of the day. Boy, he sure was! He was so polite. He'd say "Thank you" and "Please" and the nicest things all evening. It was really sweet. I'm glad, because we saw some really great things after Old Faithful.
